RTP
Return to Player — the percentage of total wagered money a game is designed to return to players over a very large number of rounds.
RTP (Return to Player) expresses, as a percentage, how much of the money staked on a game is returned to players across millions of simulated rounds. A slot with 96% RTP is designed to return €96 for every €100 wagered over the long run, leaving a 4% theoretical house edge.
What RTP is not
RTP is a long-run statistical property, not a promise about any single session. Short-run results vary widely, which is what volatility describes.
Many studios ship titles with several configurable RTP settings so operators can adjust margin to local tax conditions. Where a market regulates minimum RTP, the operator is responsible for selecting a compliant configuration.
